Mental wellbeing issue is emerging especially amongst students. If it is not recognised, it is going to cause a serious problem both academically and personally. Therefore, the wellbeing program for UNE students and their families aims to promote a deeper understanding of mental health and the factors influencing well-being or distress. By increasing self-awareness and learning strategies to manage emotions, participants will be better equipped to navigate challenging situations. Mental wellbeing is closely linked to social connections, and the program offers opportunities to connect with others who may share similar experiences, fostering a sense of belonging and support. Engaging in the wellbeing program can help individuals stay present, reduce anxiety, and improve mental clarity, ultimately enhancing focus and performance in their studies. To offer this program, BSA has identified an expert Coach with experience of providing mental wellbeing sessions at different levels. This program will be attended not just by students but also young students going to different schools and their guardians as part of community support system.
